EQUINUNK, PA — Winter is winding down and First Friday musical events at the Equinunk Historical Society’s Calder Café will end on April 6. The gatherings have been bedeviled by weather “meanies” this year. But the intrepid performers always came and filled the evenings with song despite the diminished crowd. Everyone went home humming.

Called “one of the best Blues/R&B guitarists in the country” by Billboard Magazine, Sharrard was the longtime writing partner, musical director and guitarist for Gregg Allman.
