‘DVAA Radius: Hurleyville’ exhibit
HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) partners with the Hurleyville Arts Centre to present “DVAA Radius: Hurleyville” for two weekends in December: December 2 and 3 and December 9 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, December 2 from 4 to 6 p.m.
This exhibition will feature artists who live and/or work within a 10-mile radius of Hurleyville. It will be held at Gallery 222, located at 222 Main St.
This is the third in a series of “Radius” pop-up exhibitions curated by DVAA, which started with “Radius: 12748” in Jeffersonville in 2014 and was followed by “Radius: Monticello” in 2016.
“The DVAA ‘Radius’ concept is to provide exhibition opportunities for area artists to share their work with the local public in a venue within the community,” says DVAA’s gallery director and curator Rocky Pinciotti. “In Hurleyville, we had the good fortune of organizing a show in the new Gallery 222 run by the Hurleyville Arts Centre. This collaboration brings a variety artists and mediums into the gallery for four brief, but shining days.”
