Indians pound Dawgs 13-1

LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — Sometimes “13” is a lucky number, and “1” can be the loneliest number in the world.

On Friday, April 28, the Liberty Indians (1-5) varsity baseball team picked up their first win of the season by walloping the home team Bulldogs of Sullivan West 13-1.

Just a few short weeks in the past, we labored under nearly three feet of snow, but on Thursday, April 13 it was a welcome sign of spring to watch a couple of high school varsity baseball teams take to the field under sunny skies.
