HONESDALE, PA — The body of George Julian Rymko has been identified after last being seen in 2011. According to the National Missing Persons Data System, Rymko was last seen on January 22, 2011 in Scranton. On February 2, 2011, Rymko's vehicle was discovered at a truck stop near Gouldsboro.

On Wednesday October 11. 2017 at approximately 5:00 PM Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputy Kevin Lupardo stopped a 2008 Chevrolet Pickup Truck that was traveling west bound on State Route 17 in the Town of Thompson, for a vehicle and traffic violation. A computer check of the driver indicated that his license was suspended.
