UDC: Please, sir, I want some more

NARROWSBURG, NY — When Dickens’ Oliver Twist asked for more, he was confined and the orphans’ workhouse put up a notice offering a reward for anyone who would take the troublemaker off their hands. The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) last month held out its bowl and is now concerned that a slap may be coming.

WHITE LAKE, NY — Members of the Bethel Town Board have been going to meetings of the board of the Monticello Central School District since the district closed the Cornelius Duggan Elementary School back in 2010.

Music festival shatters the peace

WHITE LAKE, NY — Everyone agreed that the music was too loud, went on too long into the night, and the hyper-amplified base was especially offensive. A parade of neighbors testified at a public hearing at the Town of Bethel meeting on September 28.
