Loose Leaf Pages serves tea and literature in Honesdale

HONESDALE, PA — Since its grand opening in May, Loose Leaf Pages has served as a welcome addition to Main Street in Honesdale: a combination bookstore and teashop that offers written works from independent publishers and local writers, tea from local sources and activities for aspiring writers and voracious readers alike.

If you look hard enough, there is always something unusual to explore in the Catskills, and I recently discovered an interesting blurb online that caught my attention. “The Peace Walk outdoor art exhibit is now open on the Rails to Trails in Mountaindale,” announced the alert.

SHOHOLA, PA — Much of the July 13 meeting of the Shohola supervisors meeting held at the municipal building was dominated by the ongoing county issue of road improvements. Several bids were opened and approved and work should begin shortly.

HONESDALE, PA — Although it had been planned as a rain-or-shine event, an uncertain forecast hung over the Roots & Rhythm Festival; after a steady downpour in the early hours of the morning, the skies were left with the lingering threat of dark clouds on the horizon.
