MONTICELLO, NY — Every day from December 26 through December 29, the Ethelbert B. Crawford Library will show a mid-day movie. They will be appropriate for all ages. Popcorn will be provided by the Friends of Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library. The library is located at 479 Broadway.

New Munson Diner hosts Santa and horse-drawn carriage

LIBERTY, NY — Santa Claus will arrive at the New Munson Diner on Lake Street, riding in a one-horse open carriage, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 23. As part of the New Munson Diner’s grand opening celebration, Jolly Saint Nick and his trusty steed will trot down Main Street and continue up Lake Street to greet children and adults alike.

Such was the case over the last few days, and my schedule changed accordingly when the first real snowfall of the season prevented me from getting to some of my appointed rounds.

MILFORD, PA — Soprano Jessica Fishenfeld and tenor Scott Joiner, accompanied by pianist Eric Sedgwick, will perform music from light operas and musicals as well as traditional holiday songs at the Milford Theatre, 114 Catherine St., on Saturday, December 16 at 5:30 p.m. The concert is a production of Kindred Spirits Arts Programs.
